BillFloat is backed by PayPal, an eBay company, who will help consumers pay any of over 3,000 "billers" such as mobile phone, cable, insurance, self storage, and other utilities. Consumers will avoid late fees, disconnection charges and/or payday loan lender's rates.
You will provide you bank debit card number or checking account routing information and BillFloat will draft the payment on the repayment date plus a small fee. The repayment date is found on the transaction summary and an email reminder is sent as well.
BillFloat uses the same level of security that financial institutions use, has received the VeriSign security seal, privacy protection standards certified by TRUSTe and McAfee.
BillFloat charges 3% interest on the dollar amount of the float plus a bill pay service fee of up to $14.99. You'll be able to see exactly what your charges are as you progress through the short application process.
